The Marvel

After the events of the series "Ms. Marvel," Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau come together when they discover that every time they use their abilities, they switch places with each other, and try to figure out why it's happening.

Marvel Studios' plans for a sequel to Captain Marvel were officially announced in July 2019. In January 2020, when it was revealed that the film was in development, it was also announced that McDonnell would be joining the project and Larson would be returning. In August of the same year, DaCosta was named director, and in December, Wellani and Parris were added to the cast. Pre-production filming began in mid-April 2021, and the film's title was announced at the beginning of May. Principal photography started in early August 2021, took place in Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Los Angeles, and Italy, and wrapped up in mid-May 2022.

The film is set to release in the United States on November 10, 2023, as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Five.
